Job Title: Marketing & Social Media Specialist

Reports To: Administrator / Director of Operations
Position Summary:
The Marketing & Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that promote the home health agency’s services, strengthen brand awareness, and support patient and referral growth. This role focuses on managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, and building relationships within the community and healthcare network.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement marketing plans to increase brand visibility and attract new clients and referral sources
• Manage and maintain all social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) with consistent, engaging, and compliant content
• Create and schedule posts, graphics, videos, and campaigns aligned with the agency’s mission and services
• Monitor social media engagement, respond to messages/comments, and maintain a professional online presence
• Coordinate community outreach efforts, including events, health fairs, and partnerships with local organizations
• Build and maintain relationships with referral sources such as hospitals, physicians, rehab centers, and senior communities
• Assist in developing marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, newsletters, and email campaigns
• Track and analyze marketing performance metrics and provide regular reports
• Ensure all marketing efforts comply with healthcare regulations and patient privacy laws (HIPAA)
• Support internal branding initiatives and staff engagement campaigns
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1–3 years of experience in marketing, social media management, or healthcare marketing preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with social media platforms, content creation tools, and scheduling software
• Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) preferred
• Knowledge of healthcare industry and home health services is a plus
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines

Pay: $500.00 per week
