Social Media & Content Creation Intern

### Job Description

David Weekley Homes is seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern for our Jacksonville division. This internship offers hands-on experience creating photo and video content for Facebook and Instagram while showcasing our homes, communities, events, and team culture.

**Responsibilities**

* Capture and edit photos, videos, and social platform reels.
* Travel to Jacksonville-area communities and events to gather content.
* Assist with content planning and organization.
* Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Construction, and other teams.
* Research social media trends and recommend creative ideas.
* Support additional marketing projects as needed.

### Qualifications

* Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field; juniors and seniors are preferred.
* Experience creating social media content through coursework, employment, student organizations, or personal projects.
* Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, Canva, Adobe, or similar tools.
* Creative, dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently.
* Portfolio or examples of photo, video, or social media work are preferred.
* Interest in homebuilding, real estate, design, or lifestyle content is a plus.
* Reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout the Jacksonville area is required.

* This internship includes a combination of office and field work.
