Social Media Content Creator & Marketing Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities

Create high-quality, engaging social media content for multiple businesses across various industries.Design professional graphics, carousel posts, and promotional materials using Canva.Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and other social media platforms using CapCut or similar software.Write engaging captions that align with each client's brand voice and marketing goals.Assist with developing and executing monthly content calendars.Research current social media trends and identify creative opportunities for client accounts.Maintain consistent branding, aesthetics, and messaging across all content.Schedule and organize social media posts according to established content calendars.Attend occasional in-person content shoots in Southeast Texas, approximately once per month, with flexible scheduling.Organize and manage digital content, including photos, videos, and design files.Manage multiple client assignments while meeting deadlines.Collaborate on creative concepts and contribute ideas to improve content performance.Experience and Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Proficiency in Canva and experience creating professional social media graphics.Experience editing short-form video content using CapCut or similar editing software.Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and current social media trends.Excellent written communication skills, including caption writing and proofreading.Strong creative eye for design, branding, typography, and visual consistency.Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Reliable communication and ability to work remotely.Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience creating content for businesses or brands.Experience with social media management or digital marketing.Familiarity with Meta Business Suite and social media scheduling platforms.Photography or videography experience.Experience working with multiple brands or client accounts.Background in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field.Additional Information:

This is a primarily remote position with occasional in-person content shoots in Southeast Texas. Flexible scheduling is available.

Previous professional agency experience is not required. I value creativity, initiative, reliability, and a strong portfolio over formal education.
