Job Summary The Social Media & Digital Content Specialist is responsible for managing and executing the organization’s digital communications across social media and online platforms. • Plan and produce creative multimedia content (photo, video, graphics, blog posts, and copy) • Draft, edit, and review digital content to ensure accuracy, brand consistency, and compliance with regulatory and advertising standards (e.g., SEC, FINRA, FTC, or applicable governing bodies) • Route content through required compliance review and approval processes prior to publication • Respond to social media messages, comments, and inquiries in a professional and compliant manner, escalating as appropriate • Develop and manage content that supports lead nurturing, client education, and relationship-building initiatives • Assist in nurturing prospective audiences through compliant messaging and ongoing digital engagement • Coordinate and distribute approved press releases and digital announcements • Support media and public relations initiatives, including coordination and assistance of media appearances and interviews • Monitor and report on social media performance, engagement metrics, and lead-nurturing content effectiveness including website traffic and conversion data. • Collaborate with marketing, compliance, and leadership teams to ensure consistent and approved messaging • Stay updated on the latest trends in social media management, digital marketing tools, and industry best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications • Proven experience managing social media and digital content for a business or professional services organization • Strong written and editing skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy • Experience supporting lead nurturing, client education, or relationship-building initiatives through digital content • Strong creative sensibility with hands-on experience capturing, producing, and editing photo and video content; basic editing skills preferred • Proficiency with social media management, scheduling, and content archiving tools • Sound judgment in handling public communications, prospect inquiries, and sensitive topics • Highly organized individual with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities • Strong communication skills, including creative and professional writing capabilities • Basic knowledge of analytics and reporting to measure engagement and content performance • Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision • Strong interpersonal and networking skills • Ability to lift and transport production equipment as required
