Social Media & Email Marketing Specialist (Part-Time)

The Media Captain is seeking a talented Social Media Strategist to join our team and help create compelling social media content for our diverse clientele across various industries. • Use Canva to design visually appealing graphics for social media content • Collaborate with our graphic design team on higher-level client projects • Conduct high-level conversations with new and existing clients to understand their needs and create tailored social media strategies • Provide recommendations for Facebook/Instagram advertisements • Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices • Analyze social media performance and provide insights and recommendations to clients • Work effectively in a fast-paced agency environment with multiple clients and deadlines • This position also requires experience with email marketing platforms like MailChimp and Constant Contact for email marketing. • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Writing, Communications, or related field • Proven experience (5-years) in social media marketing and strategy development • Excellent writing and editing skills • Proficiency in Canva and other design tools • Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their best practices • Experience in email marketing • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely • Experience working in a marketing agency or with multiple clients This is a full-time position. • Please include a link to 3 different social media posts you've curated in the past and talk about what made each of those posts unique.
