Key Responsibilities: • Serve as the primary advisor on social media strategy to senior leadership, guiding executives on the benefits and adoption of social media within communications and marketing programs • Collaborate with the Brand team to execute the company's vision across social media channels • Enhance enterprise social media analytics capabilities by defining metrics frameworks, improving measurement rigor, and translating complex performance data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership • Influence and secure budgets to run successful social media campaigns • Expand and optimize NextEra Energy's social media channels, including emerging platforms (e.g., Reddit, Substack, TikTok) • Guide executive thought leadership on LinkedIn and other platforms • Oversee emergency communications and social customer service management • Lead vendor and operations management for social media initiatives • Integrate paid and organic efforts to maximize ROI • Foster cross-functional collaboration on creative, optimizing content based on audience and performance data • Develop perspectives on agent engine optimization and influencer marketing • Ensure all campaigns and content reflect brand standards and strategic messaging • Perform other job-related duties as assigned Position Required Qualifications: • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in social media, digital marketing, public affairs or communications • Proven ability to influence across a matrixed organization and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership • Demonstrated success in securing executive buy-in and resources for social media initiatives • Experience managing and developing social media teams • Strong understanding of social media landscape, best practices and analytics tools • Excellent communication, leadership and relationship-building skills
