Social Media Manager

ITVS seeks a Social Media Manager to work in collaboration with a creative team of producers, designers, and marketing experts to develop strategies and tactics for engaging our audiences across social platforms, and for reaching new audiences in the ever-evolving media space. As a source of deep knowledge and expertise in a dynamic social media environment, the Social Media Manager is responsible for combining compelling content with data-driven decision making to produce imaginative campaigns, creative feed curation, and thoughtful community management for activating audiences and sparking conversations around the stories, characters, and issues ITVS brings to the public. ● Guide strategic management and workflows for ITVS and Independent Lens social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, including new platforms as they emerge ● Experience in data-driven digital marketing, public relations, journalism, communications or a related field, including agency work or with an in-house team ● Demonstrated strategic development and leadership experience with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
