Social Media & Marketing Coordinator (Part-Time)

We are three things at once: a curated bookstore, a café and bar, and a live venue. We are looking for a creative, self-driven Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to help tell our story and promote our mission and business. You will also collaborate directly with the Bookstore Manager on books and author events, and with the Café Manager to develop and build out café content. Responsibilities • Develop narratives around the bookstore, cafe, event stage, and how they come together individually ,and as part of the business as a whole • Own and grow our social media presences with original photo, video, and written content • Develop and maintain a content calendar across all platforms and verticals • Create and distribute promotional materials for all stage events: music, poetry readings, and author appearances • Produce in-store signage and display materials • Maintain our website via Square Space and keep the events calendar current • Write and publish a biweekly newsletter via Constant Contact • Photograph events, the space, and inventory for use across all channels Compensation is $20-25 per hour for part-time (20–30 hours per week), commensurate with experience.
