Social Media Marketing Intern

We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated Social Media Intern to join our team. Ideal candidates will have to be working towards a degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or other related program and demonstrate a sound use of social media for business purposes.This hands-on internship needs a team player willing to take on multiple projects in an effort to meet various company and client deadlines. • Assist in the creation and curation of compelling content for social media platforms, including but not limited to posts, graphics, videos, and other multimedia assets. • Experience in scheduling social media posts • Familiarity with Microsoft Word/PowerPoint/Excel, Google Suite and both PC and MAC operating environments and Photoshop • Experience designing in Canva preferred • Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames with outstanding multitasking abilities • Organized, dependable and detail oriented • Team Player with a cooperative spirit • Writing and proofing skills are required • Excellent personal, verbal and written communication skills • Must have a passion for putting talents to use to help others • Willing to volunteer in community • Professional, punctual and collaborative
