The Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing and executing an overall social media strategy to support our product lines. Day-to-day activities include maintaining content calendars, developing and posting original content, leveraging current digital assets, audit existing social channels and developing and/or participating in the process of responding to both positive and negative comments, weekly email blasts to current and potential clients. Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in new media/digital journalism, public relations, communications, marketing or related field – preferred Minimum Experience/Knowledge • 3+ years experience in social media and content marketing within a large organization or agency • 3+ years in social media content creation, digital journalism and communications • Examples of successful social media communities and digital assets of brands or organizations candidate has recently managed.
