Social Media Marketing Specialist

We're a busy medical marketing practice looking for a passionate social media specialist to manage client campaigns. The ideal candidate is a go-getter who's independent enough to develop creative, effective strategies without needing their hand held, but collaborative enough to work closely with other departments in refining those strategies. Responsibilities • Build and execute organic and paid social media strategies for a variety of clients • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action • Optimize company pages within each social platform to increase the visibility of the company’s social content • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community • Create editorial calendars and publication schedules • Work closely with other team members to maximize paid social media ads • Adapt strategies as needed according to analytics, insights and best practices • Collaborate with other teams (Design, Development, Management) to deliver the best possible outcome for each client Requirements • Proven working experience in social media or related field with examples of successes • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge • In-depth knowledge of the advertising platforms on each of the major social networks • Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, and SEO • Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels • Positive attitude, detail- and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability • BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, Public Relations or similar area preferred (or equivalent experience) Google ads experience and certification are a plus but not required. This is a part-time, contract role that we anticipate will need approximately 8-10 hours per week. Pay will be $24.00 - $30.00 per hour depending on experience.
