Social Media & Marketing Specialist

Position Overview: Key Responsibilities: Monitor and actively engage with comments and direct messages across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedInPost daily stories highlighting upcoming events, featured flavors, promotions, and behind-the-scenes contentCreate engaging content (Reels, photos, videos, and stories) for all social media platformsDevelop and manage monthly content calendars across all platformsEngage with local Facebook groups and community pages to increase brand visibilityAssist in promoting all departments, including retail, catering, weddings, and eventsAttend and represent the brand at marketing events (bridal showcases, expos, community events)Capture and create content at off-site events (Cupcake truck visits, weddings, special events)Collaborate with the marketing team on Facebook/Meta ads, including budget coordination and campaign executionUtilize Meta Business Suite for scheduling, analytics, and promotionsParticipate in monthly marketing meetings and contribute ideas and strategyCreate internal content (such as training reels) for team education and product knowledgeCoordinate marketing initiatives, including influencer partnerships, collaborations, and brand campaigns 3–5 years of experience in marketing, social media, or a related fieldBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferredProficiency in Canva (required)Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analyticsExperience with content creation (photography, videography, editing)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environmentComfortable being on camera and directing others for content creationExperience with influencer marketing and brand partnershipsKnowledge of Meta Ads Manager and basic ad strategyBasic understanding of social media insights/analytics Must be available for occasional evenings and weekendsMust be able to attend off-site events and travel locally as neededMust be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
