Social Media & Marketing Specialist

MRD is seeking a full-timeSocial Media & Marketing Specialistthat will be based out of our Salem, Oregon office. The Social Media & Marketing Specialist will be spending most of his or her time on the road visiting numerous job sites throughout the Pacific Northwest. Their main responsibility is to collect and create engaging content for our followers/viewers, and to manage our social media platforms. Minimum responsibilities include: • Complies with all MRD Safety policies and procedures • Ability to get FAA Part 107 drone license within 30 days of hire (if he/she doesn't already have 107 license) • Expected to operate all drones and other equipment in a safe, efficient, and professional manner • Willing to spend most of their time in the field in an effort to collect & create content • Able to manage social media platforms • Able to create video reels, highlight videos, safety videos etc. Minimum skills and qualifications include: • Valid Driver's License • Reliable transportation to the home base • Clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations within last 3 years) • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test • Clean criminal background • Must be a self starter and flexible with schedule changes • Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills • Innovative mindset • Previous video editing software experience strongly preferred • At least 1-2 years Social Media or Marketing experience strongly preferred • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred, but not required • Passionate in Marketing and/or Technology
