Social Media Specialist & Copywriter

RESPONSIBILITIES \\- Copywriting \\- Research conducted as necessary \\- Create appropriate tone to reach target audiences \\- Create Layouts and structures based on client needs \\- Press release writing \\- Writing for media \\- Script writing \\- Proofreading / spelling and grammar checks \\- Write copy for client ads & brochures \\- Create website copy Press Release Distribution \\- Distribution on national, regional, local level \\- Traditional and digital distribution Social Media \\- Creation of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat content \\- Monitor comment interaction \\- Monitor client inboxes \\- Monitor page feeds and visitor posts \\- Increase engagement \\- Schedule posts / content \\- Monitor reviews & activity \\- Work with creative department for images and content Media Relations \\- Engage with local, regional or national media \\- Work with Marketing department to determine client media needs MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS \\- Education: College degree in integrated marketing communications, public relations or business administration \\- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, agency experience preferred, thorough knowledge of - Microsoft Office Suite and graphic design experience is a plus.
