Social Media Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an energetic, organize and detail oriented Social Media Specialist to fill this position at our boutique marketing agency in Panama City Beach. Ideal candidate will have experience with creating business content (copy and visual) across multiple social media platforms plus a basic knowledge of graphic design. This role requires a strong understanding of content creation, how to leverage social media to achieve marketing goals, and flexible work hours between 10am – 5pm on Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

Create compelling content tailored for different social media channels, including text, images, and videos.
Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement across platforms.
Manage daily social media activities to schedule posts and monitor engagement.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns and objectives.
Analyze performance metrics best practices to optimize content and improve visibility.
Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in social media marketing.
Build relationships with influencers and other stakeholders to enhance client brand visibility.

Experience / Requirements:

Experience on platforms including Facebook, Instagram and Meta Business Suite is required.
A functional level of knowledge of other social media platforms including TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Snapchat is preferred.
A functional level of experience with email service providers (such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, and other similar platforms) is preferred.
At least a functional level of knowledge with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut or a similar platform is a plus.
Previous experience managing multiple social media accounts for brands or organizations is a plus.
Familiarity with Google Analytics and other Google platforms is a plus.
Current and valid driver's license is required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is a plus.
Ability to work in office environment for 15 - 25 hours per week, between 9am – 5pm on Monday – Friday is required.
