OverviewAssisting Advertising Manager in ensuring all customer advertising needs are met.ResponsibilitiesInitiate, develop, automate, and coordinate effective design solutions for ad layouts.Prepare and oversee all activities associated with final design and production.Exercise good judgment in recommending formats and innovative graphics options to maximize impact and remain competitive.Supervise and oversee the work of ad specialists.Coordinate any necessary photography for projects when needed.Responsible for generating over 100 ad pages weekly.Produce ad layouts to meet guidelines provided by retail customers.Determine the appropriate version of ads based on customer needs.Decide which products to include in ads based on region and information from directors of Galaxy, IGA, and Piggly Wiggly.Generate proofs, send to customers, and make appropriate changes based on customer specifications.Release ads, grids, and run lists to ensure accurate print versions and distribution.Prepare files for email blasts and provide accurate information for social media.Keep the advertising manager informed on the progress of weekly ads.Communicate with Galaxy, IGA, Piggly Wiggly advertising customers and departments to ensure ad layouts meet customer expectations.Provide support to all MDI departments in preparing window signs, newspaper ads, bag stuffers, ad layouts, digital coupons, etc.Perform other tasks as necessary.QualificationsTwo-year degree or 5 years of equivalent experience in graphic design, marketing, ad layout, etc. Must have good time management, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to work well and communicate with customers and vendors. Must be able to work well under pressure and meet weekly and daily deadlines. Must be self-motivated and creative.Excellent knowledge of Adobe software: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator; also Microsoft Excel.#LI-VP1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
