Sr. Director, Strategic Planning

Job Summary The Senior Director, Comcast Advertising Strategy Team will have the opportunity to work on a variety of strategic and high visibility projects that help shape Comcast Advertising’s enterprise-wide strategy. This key contributor to the Comcast Advertising Strategy Team will work with functional and executive leaders across Comcast, Effectv and Freewheel, several of the business units within Comcast Cable, NBCUniversal, and Sky as well as work with leading industry organizations and vendor partners within the advertising and advertising technology industries. Core Skills: • Synthesize insight from multiple workstreams, data sources and team members to create effective, concise support material with storylines tailored to audience and objectives • Lead discussions with stakeholders and team members and presenting recommendations • Working with little/no oversight or supervision, capable of working in ambiguous environments • Clearly and concisely communicate across business units and functions and to senior leadership teams • Support and guide to junior resources; actively provides feedback and identifies stretch opportunities for junior resources • Contributes to team building (i.e., coordinating trainings, organizing events, helping with recruiting) • Consistently exercises independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance • Demonstrates the ability to act as a member of a working team or an individual contributor 2+ years of overall strategy & development or related experience; strong preference for management consulting backgrounds • MBA or post-graduate degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
