As a mission-driven, rapidly growing organization, we are building a trusted, innovative, and collaborative organization focused on accelerating answers to inform decisions.

We are seeking a self-starter HCP-focused marketer with experience in healthcare, biotech, or medical device environments to help build our Marketing team and grow our organization. This role is an in-office position that can either be full-time or part-time. This is an ideal role for a marketer who thrives in a mission-driven, collaborative, fast-paced environment and is excited to help shape a company’s voice and impact.

Role Overview

The Senior Marketing Manager (or Marketing Manager, experience dependent) will support the development and own the execution of AlphaDetect’s HCP marketing and communication strategy across digital and print channels, with the opportunity to expand into direct to patient marketing for rare disease detection.

This role blends hands-on content development, project management, cross-functional collaboration, and strong execution skills to ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and drives behavior change toward increased genetic testing.

You will work closely with executive leadership, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and external partners from day one to elevate disease state education and detection options, strengthen provider engagement, and support initiatives that serve the Alpha-1 community. This is a high-visibility role with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Marketing & Brand Communications

Execute the HCP marketing tactical plan under the guidance of senior leadership, translating strategy into clear, compelling, and compliant marketing materials within a lean non-profit budget
Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and brand identity across all communication channels
Lead and execute the communications strategy, including social media initiatives, particularly LinkedIn, in alignment with industry best practices
Collaborate cross-functionally, including with the Alpha-1 Foundation, to support integrated and aligned messaging across initiatives

2. Content Development & Campaign Execution

Partner with internal teams and external agencies to launch and optimize disease state education and genetic testing websites, including content strategy and recommendations
Develop and execute core HCP launch assets such as brochures, video content, and promotional materials while ensuring alignment with brand strategy
Support the planning and execution of HCP congress presence, sponsorships, and related marketing initiatives within budget parameters
Provide executional support for peer-to-peer speaker program development and associated content creation

3. Project Management & Operational Coordination

Manage marketing project timelines, deliverables, budgets, and cross-functional communication to ensure successful execution of initiatives
Oversee inventory management for genetic sample collection kits and promotional materials
Coordinate with external vendors for design, printing, and digital services to support marketing programs efficiently
Facilitate collaboration among internal stakeholders, agencies, and vendors to maintain project alignment and operational effectiveness

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
At least 2 years of marketing experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices is a must
1–3 years of communications, or digital content creation experience a bonus
Basic understanding of brand, marketing, and content development
Strong written and verbal communication skills; PR and media experience a plus
Familiarity with social media best practices, specifically LinkedIn
Detail-oriented with strong project management and executional skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Hands on execution
Can work in ambiguity/launch environment
Creative thinker with a willingness to learn and take initiative
Proven ability to collaborate and engage within an office environment
Able to travel as needed to key US based congresses/meetings (~20%)

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
