SR. MGR, DIGITAL SALES AND MARKETING

PEG Hospitality Overview The Senior Digital Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining digital marketing strategies to meet objectives and enhance the image of their assigned hotels. Duties will include, but are not limited to: • Lead monthly marketing strategy and review calls for assigned hotels • Attend bi-weekly revenue management calls to align strategy • Involvement with ownership calls as needed to discuss strategies, budgets and past performance • Audit brand websites for areas that need to be enhanced, revised or removed, and implement necessary changes and revision • Create brand aligned collateral and digital files • Stay current with brand marketing tools • Ensure all hotel listings are optimized, visible, accurate, up-to-date and appealing to prospective guests • Resolve content changes to Online Travel Agency (OTA) websites as necessary • Work with assigned hotels on OTA content scores • Advise paid placement and ad space for specific OTAs and manage promotional budget and ad spend on behalf of hotels • Identify hotels with needs and opportunities for paid advertising • Make recommendations and manage funds and strategies for approved hotels • Recommend retargeting ad campaigns and strategies as needed to improve web direct traffic and conversion • Assist property teams by consulting content creation for Social Media platforms • Engage General Managers, Directors of Sales, and Front Office to ensure everyone has appropriate access to appropriate channels to optimize property performance. • Train all new Digital Sales and Marketing team members. Skills and Capabilities: • Proven working experience in digital marketing or e-commerce, particularly within the hospitality industry • Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on major hotel search engines • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate bookings • Managing processes • Able to develop budget • Strong Microsoft Office skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Ability to work well independently and collaboratively • Strong time management skills • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics.
