Team Leader of Marketing and Advertising

The Team Leader of Marketing and Advertising is a marketing operations and communications leader who is strategic, resourceful and can drive impactful initiatives for direct marketing, targeted marketing and segmentation projects across audiences . This position works closely with all areas of Marketing as well as other departments that could include Sales, Sales Operations, Client Experience, Legal, Product and Service teams. Responsibilities • Support vision and strategic roadmap with leadership and set up team to execute initiatives including ensuring gating activities are on track for deployment and completed on time • Orchestrate defined full funnel approach with target audiences • Establish a data and audience insights strategy to implement, test and refine plans • Serves as subject matter expert for target audiences to educate the department on the mindset, motivations, business opportunity, pain points and market challenges • Make data-driven decisions on who we should target, with what messaging and when • Lead across the department with stakeholders to build plans that effectively target customers as they move through the funnel that could include blogs, webinars, landing pages, email, direct mail, events and gifting • Cross collaborate with content owners to increase lead generation for targeted audiences that could include infographics, guides, case studies and videos including working with writers, video producers, designers and developers • Clearly communicate issues, manage expectations, and share marketing content, campaigns and tools with other departments within the company; Coordinate with other department leaders as needed to plan short and long-term initiatives • Responsible for maintaining progress and business continuity for business processes and objectives owned by their team • Become an expert in Paycom’s wholistic marketing and sales strategy • Supervise a team of marketers and their work including setting goals and priorities, interviewing, hiring, training, developing, and reviewing performance • Create highly productive relationships across the organization to align on target strategy and produce results as one team including sharing insights for optimization • Supports managing the budget for team projects • Reviews and creates reports on execution of project plans regularly; track and report on goals and KPIs and make recommendations to optimize including coordination of multiple data streams involving a variety of stakeholders • Able to competently manage multiple projects at differing stages across shifting priorities and at a rapid pace. You have strong written and verbal communication skills and are able to communicate a plan to coworkers and leaders including leading meetings and standing up in front groups to present.
