Seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for a travel assignment in Delmar, DE.
Responsibilities include: evaluating, developing, and implementing care plans for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting; supervising PTAs and support staff; billing according to facility guidelines; collaborating with medical personnel to ensure a team-focused plan; understanding adaptive equipment; modifying care plans based on patient progress; utilizing medical computer systems; and maintaining accurate documentation.
Qualifications: minimum of 6 months of experience (new grads encouraged to apply), valid state license, BLS certification, and ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and bending. A solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology is required.
Additional info: The role involves 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, with a focus on providing quality patient care and compliance with regulations. Certifications beyond BLS may be needed prior to assignment.
