The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for social media and digital marketing. The Social Media Specialist will play an important part in helping to achieve a variety of goals for our clients: growth, talent acquisition, increased visibility, and exposure for their businesses! Key Responsibilities: • Oversee and execute all social media content on various platforms for assigned clients • Assist in developing detailed social media strategies for multiple clients at once • Plan and design content calendars, including captions and hashtag research • Create and edit photos, graphics, and videos • Facilitate direct communication with clients, ensuring their needs are addressed in a timely manner • Schedule and monitor social media posts for assigned clients • Collaborate with CEO and Vessel Marketing team to align on new strategies and ideas • Community engagement on behalf of assigned clients to encourage growth & engagement • Review analytics and monitor the performance of posts • On-site photo and video sessions with clients, when needed • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices on each platform • 1:1 Interview • One 45-60 minute conversation with the CEO to discuss the candidate's qualifications, prior work experience, and interest in the role. This step also allows the candidate to get a sense of the types of projects they would work on as a member of the Vessel Marketing team and give them an opportunity to ask additional questions about the role, clients, and company.
