This can be a fully remote (U.S. only) or an in-office/hybrid position for those living in the Greater Sacramento Area. What You’ll Do • Manage a team of advertising directors and managers to manage a portfolio of clients, challenging them to think expansively and strategically • Develop and lead media strategies for clients, delivering compelling business cases for investing their media dollars • Use competitive intelligence and research tools to present strategic insights & recommendations for key clients. Complete performance evaluations • Develop training plans for new employees in conjunction with the SVP • Work with VP, Marketing to establish and communicate agency POVs • Maintain strategic oversight of client performance, consulting with team and client as needed to set goals, surface key insights, and drive prioritization of efforts • Assist with new business audits • Foster team collaboration, including sharing tests, results, challenges & wins, and ensuring certifications are kept up to date • Serve as a digital advertising expert who can be brought into specific clients and marketing/PR opportunities • Ensure that the procedures in Closed Loop’s Information Security Policy are personally followed and that all company and client data personally accessed is properly secured • Reports to SVP, Client Services in Marketing, Advertising, or related field • 12-15+ years of experience in digital advertising with at least 10 years in an agency setting and 4 years managing a team • Strong track record in B2B or technology or financial service accounts, understanding relevant client challenges and business trends for B2B industry segments/products • Exceptional leadership skills and management experience demonstrated through staff development and implementation of exemplary processes • Excellent understanding of the media business and its day-to-day operations • Technical understanding of ad-tech/mar-tech, social platforms, and research and measurement systems • Strong presentation skills and propensity to share results externally • Possesses a strong presence and point of view in the marketing / B2B industry • Excellent track record of maintaining multiple client engagements at once and growing client business while encouraging diversification into multiple products and services • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent organizational and communication skills • Willingness to travel to client locations or main headquarters as needed (15% of time) • Remotely work for a company that was built for remote work.
