Vice President, Digital Media Operations

Job Summary: The Vice President, Digital Media Operations will oversee the Digital AdOps and Buying teams to streamline process and maximize capabilities to meet and exceed delivery and performance expectations. Responsibilities include direct oversight of all AdTech and activity for programmatic buying including Search, Display, and Social Media and will serve as the primary liaison between Media Planning, Ad-Ops, Analytics and Buying to ensure flawless campaign delivery, measurability and performance. Additionally, this role will be responsible for managing the company’s data partnerships and overall audience development process that ensures precision targeting to Refuel’s specialized audience focus. Achieving success in this role will be determined by your ability to move the organization forward via flawless campaign workflows, performance, and team management to affect cross-departmental efficiencies and efficacy improvements. The ideal candidate is a leader in this field with a ‘can do’ attitude, team spirit, well organized, detail oriented, proactive, & able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Activities and Responsibilities:

Implementing best-in-class Programmatic media strategies that deliver against client objectives within search, display, social and video channels for assigned clientProviding inputs and guidance around campaign design, including requirements for success and optimal use of demand side platformsWorking with Strategy team to understand goals, address client needs, and communicate results and insights to clientsWorking with Tactical Planning team to ensure proper campaign setup for measurability and performanceCross-departmental collaboration to implement new Business Intelligences tools and new capabilities (e.g., new supply & data sources, new media measurement techniques, etc.)Developing strong relationships with clients, global counterpart colleaguesAssisting in setting Budgets, KPI's and measurement frameworkDelivering credible thought leadership on Programmatic role in the Marketing ecosystem, providing a multi-year vision of the program and lead proactive insights on channel opportunities through both short-term and long-term business lensesLeading communication of Programmatic tech/data needs with cross-functional partners to ensure seamless deployment of digital programmatic campaigns and effectively report results to all stakeholdersAbility to effectively manage costs while exceeding performance and campaign goalsExcellent communication skills, ability to distill key ideas for non-digitally centric teamsManaging and mentoring a team of Programmatic channel specialists, providing day-to-day guidance as well as career growth and developmentEnsuring team manages and efficiently optimizes programs within budget goalsTracking innovation within the industry, and evaluate and identify new partners and technology that will drive best-in-class channel strategies for Hearts and our clientsParticipating in New Business effortsManage all vendor invoice reconciliations and timely payment remittance.Support knowledge sharing across the planning team via best-practice development and case studiesMust Have Skills:

Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field of study7+ years’ experience, including a minimum of 5 years’ experience managing, mentoring, and nurturing a diverse team in a fast-paced organization more junior talentExperience working with large data sets and understanding of methodologies for evaluating data and audience developmentTechnical and strategic understanding of programmatic display buying required, particularly in paid search and displayExperience working with Ad Technology stacks and programmatic implementation processesStrong knowledge of marketing technologies & tools (Web analytics, tag management, ad servers, attribution)Strong analytical skills and understanding of ecommerce, retail and lead-gen KPI'sExceptional analytics skills, and confidence acting on marketing data and insightsHigh level understanding of integrated media planningGeneral knowledge of direct and brand marketing principles and strategiesDigital certifications/degree/seminarsGoogle certified desiredGoogle Analytics, YouTube and Facebook campaign setup knowledge - not mandatory, but an important plusWorking knowledge of 3rd party verification tools, including DoubleVerifyJob Requirements:

Possible intermittent travel.Possible sales support and/or client facing communication.The applicant selected for this position may be required to successfully complete a background check. Passing results must be received prior to the start date in the new position.Willingness to submit for approval to manage Political advertising with Google platforms using personal information as required.
