You’ll be responsible for creating mood boards and proposed video narratives, producing short-form and long-form content, creating and adding graphics and animations, and adding music and special effects. Will consider both part-time and full-time applicants.ResponsibilitiesA video editor with our company will have multiple responsibilities: Edit video content for multiple outlets, including social media, YouTube, and NetflixEvaluate raw footage and review shot lists and storyboardsUse software to enhance video footageAudio mixing and color gradingImplement effective storytelling techniquesSuggest and implement appropriate special effects and music additionsCollaborate with video production team membersJob qualifications and skill setsOur ideal video editor will have the following skills and qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in film studies, production, video editing, visual effects, cinematography, graphic design, or a related fieldRelevant work experience focusing in the post-production process and links to past work or reels in a portfolioProficiency with video editing software, including Adobe Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier, Frame.io, etc.An advanced understanding of sound effects and special effectsExcellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlinesCritical thinking and problem-solving talentsStrong organizational and file management skillsAddress client feedback from multiple stakeholdersCommunication skills that allow the editor to collaborate with other video production team membersExperience with digital video editing and motion graphicsWhat We Offer:EVR maintains a hybrid workplace, with staff working at the Manchester, NH office three days a week (Tuesday-Thursday) and from anywhere two days a week (Monday and Friday)Early FridaysGroovy Millyard workspaceFree parkingAt EVR Advertising, we believe in fostering a collaborative, creative environment where great ideas flourish.
