Virtual Events Specialist (Remote)

You are optimistic about getting it all done but are pragmatic about what it will take. -KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Logistics \\- Document webinar SOP \\- Develop template webinar settings and template project management sheets \\- Manage webinar setup and recordings \\- Serve as virtual webinar host \\- Meet with and coach webinar speakers \\- Develop collateral as appropriate \\- Manage event calendar at cacfp.org Programming \\- Source webinar topics and presenters e.g.) \\- Format webinar session descriptions and presenter biographies for online and print production \\- Manage speaker communications, expectations, and deadlines \\- Track and update speaker confirmations, registrations, contact info, post online speaker presentations \\- Work with website team to transition material to learning center Attendee Experience \\- Secure and analyze survey results for topic recommendations growth opportunities \\- Send appreciation follow-up + survey results to speakers \\- Work with certification team for CEU awards \\- Work with operations team for attendee registrations Marketing \\- Develop communications plan for webinars \\- Create and post essential information for marketing team National In-Person Conference \\- Event planning support as required \\- Travel: Onsite event management support (mid-April) \\- Travel: Pre-planning meeting with hotel (fall) Other Committee Support as needed Required Qualifications: \\- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, event management or a related field of study; significant - work experience can substitute for the degree \\- Three or more years of work experience in event planning or related field \\- Demonstrated experience in planning, organizing and executing projects of varying complexity and delivering them - within specified timeframes and budgets \\- Excellent communication skills, including writing, proof reading skills, and speaking \\- Ability and confidence to manage and accomplish multiple simultaneous projects and work assignments with little supervision.
