VP of Advertising & Sponsorship Sales

In this role you’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth across multiple media brands (Boston Globe, Boston.com , B-Side), in multiple formats (digital, video, print, live events, virtual events, and custom content). You’ll collaborate across multiple teams including marketing, StudioB, Account Management, Events, Editorial, and Product. In addition to leading the team in direct sales, this role has oversight and responsibility for programmatic revenue across the portfolio. Responsibilities: • Lead and develop a high-performing sales team that consistently meets and exceeds revenue quotes • Build and own multi-year advertising revenue plans across digital, print, programmatic, audio, video, newsletters, and live events • Lead quarterly and annual revenue forecasting anchored in market intelligence, seasonality, vertical trends, and emerging platforms • Develop revenue growth frameworks for key Boston Globe franchises • Identify and operationalize new monetizable products in partnership with Product and Editorial • Own end-to-end pipeline accuracy, forecasting, pacing reporting, in conjunction with Revenue Operations • Provide insight-rich reporting to CCO • Partner with Sales Marketing on audience insights, market positioning, and advertiser storytelling.
