Automotive Corporate Controller

We are currently offering experienced Corporate Controllers a relocation bonus to join our team. * Assist management with important financial decisions * Prepare financial documents such as business reports, financial forecasts and statements to understand the financial state of business * Supervise employees who work under the controller in preparing financial reports and budgets * Monitor company’s financial reports and determine ways to reduce costs * Keep up-to-date on the financial market to understand how to maximize profits and find new expansion areas * Understand the financials of the dealerships in order to meet legal requirements and keep the financial state in good standing * Participates in the preparation of short- and long-term financial forecasts for the dealership. * Provide department managers with detailed financial and management reports. * Ensures that all office personnel are using proper accounting procedures and maintaining accurate records and analyses and supervises the preparation of all information in order to minimize audit or review costs. **Required Skills and Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field * 10+ years proven Corporate Controller experience * Automotive accounting experience * Strong understanding of economic and banking processes **Preferred Qualifications** * Strong working knowledge of detailed financial data analysis * Proven payroll experience, with a focus on streamlining accounting processes * Exemplary history of financial project management * Working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations and reporting * CPA highly preferred * The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management about the finances of the business and justify certain financial recommendations * Attention to detail * Basic math skills to make accurate calculations and estimates Applicants are subject to a pre- employment driving record check, background check and drug test.
