Marketing Manager

In this position, you will play a critical role in managing all of our marketing activities. Who You Are Able to work on-site in Bellingham, WA at least 2 days a week Committed and engaged with issues of social justice, diversity, equity, and inclusiveness Confident working with marketing automation, CRM, and business intelligence/analytics A project management aficionado, with experience delivering work on time and on budget Equipped with stellar interpersonal and communication skills Able to work effectively both with direction and independently Comfortable with public speaking, “cold calling,” and professional relationship management Familiar with the GMO issue and sincerely interested in helping to protect the future of the North American food supply Areas of Responsibility Collaborate with Insights, Communications, Design, and Business Development managers to activate the Butterfly Brand story Increase the organization’s brand recognition and relevance through high- impact marketing campaigns Innovate new and engaging tactics to deliver value to all stakeholders Collaborate with Client Experience team to nourish relationships with clients and retailers Inform and execute integrated marketing strategies that include digital platforms and partnerships, clients, online and brick and mortar retailers Act as a subject matter expert on all facets of B2B and B2C marketing Plan and execute our presence at select trade shows Act as a liaison with our digital marketing agency. Experience You Bring We place a high value on lived experience coupled with professional experience 3-5 years working in progressive marketing or advertising role Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or related field Nonprofit and/or good food movement experience Strong knowledge of marketing principles, including brand advertising, direct marketing, shopper marketing, social media, and other digital platforms.
