You should also be able to clearly communicate how research translates into business/product decisions, which are digestible for a diverse group of cross-functional roles (e.g. ranking engineers, data scientists, and product managers). **As a UX Researcher (Finance Apps), you’ll: ** * Work closely with cross-functional partners (e.g. product management, data science, analytics, and engineering) to identify and prioritize knowledge gaps in the company's understanding of the advertising experience on its family of apps and design/translate research that uniquely contributes to solving for those knowledge gaps. * Design and execute custom primary research using a wide variety of quantitative methods and interpret analyses through the lens of business impact, UX, statistical modeling, etc. **Benefits: ** * Pre-tax commuter benefits * Employer (HireArt) Subsidized healthcare benefits * Flexible Spending Account for healthcare-related costs * HireArt covers all costs for short and long term disability and life insurance * 401k package If you're interested in applying for the role, you can check it out here: https://www.hireart.com/jobs/00d220ab/apply?c=t ### Requirements * Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a social science (e.g. Communication, Sociology, Political Science, Economics, or Psychology) or quantitative field (e.g. Statistics, Informatics, or Econometrics) with experience answering social questions * Strong knowledge of quantitative research methodologies (e.g. survey sampling and design, significance testing, statistical modeling, experimental design, and behavioral data analysis) * Experience in survey design * Experience executing hands-on, primary research * Experience with coding, data manipulation, and analysis using statistical tools (e.g. R/SAS/Stata or SQL/Hive) * Experience asking, as well as answering, questions for businesses **Preferred qualifications: ** * Advanced degree in related field and 3+ years of experience * Background in machine learning/predictive modeling * Experience using quantitative studies to influence business strategy and operation * Experience working closely with ranking, back-end, or machine learning engineers **Commitment:** _This is a full-time, 6-month contract position staffed via HireArt.
